Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and polished, this extension bar is built to withstand the cyclic loading typical of workshop and professional use. The polished finish aids corrosion resistance and makes the bar straightforward to wipe clean after use. A knurled ring around the body provides a positive grip when rotating by hand or when seating and removing the bar from the drive tool. Socket retention is handled by a spring-loaded ball bearing, which locks the socket securely onto the square drive tang and prevents unintended release during use. The bar is manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, providing a traceable quality benchmark suited to professional workshop environments.
