A hole is provided for a driving accessory spring-loaded ball bearing, ensuring the socket retains its drive securely during use. The overall length of 50mm gives the clearance required for deep or recessed fasteners that a standard socket cannot reach. The socket is manufactured to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, confirming conformance to recognised dimensional and performance standards. Sold loose, it is suitable for addition to an existing 1/4" drive socket set or for replacement of a worn or missing size.
