The Draper 16427 is a 1/4" square drive reversible ratchet forged from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and finished to a satin chrome plate, delivering the durability and corrosion resistance expected from a professional workshop tool. The 72-tooth ratchet mechanism provides a fine action arc, allowing the tool to be used in tighter spaces where a larger swing angle is impractical. Direction is changed via a lever-mounted forward/reverse selector, and a quick release mechanism allows sockets to be swapped rapidly without interrupting workflow. A spring-loaded ball bearing retains each socket securely during use, preventing unintended disengagement. The soft grip handle is designed to reduce hand fatigue during extended use.
