NOX and particulate sensors fitted to modern diesel exhaust systems are notoriously difficult to remove — high exhaust temperatures over the sensor's life cycle the threads tightly, often beyond the limits of generic tooling. The Govoni GO700 is a dedicated socket set for the disassembly and assembly of exhaust particle and NOX sensors, providing the correct profile, drive interface, and cable protection needed for safe sensor servicing.
The closed 6-point socket profile is critical — it allows very high loosening torques to be applied without rounding the sensor body, particularly important on extremely locked or seized couplings. The special design prevents slipping and damage to the socket profile on the sensor itself, preserving the sensor for re-use where appropriate.
A practical detail that distinguishes this set from generic sockets: the connection cable from the sensor is routed to the side of the socket where it is protected from cuts and incisions during the removal operation. With a generic deep socket the cable would either need to be disconnected (where possible) or risk damage as it passes through the centre of the socket.
The set contents cover the common NOX and particulate sensor sizes encountered across the major diesel vehicle manufacturers: 1 x 24mm socket, 1 x 32mm socket, 1 x 19mm socket adapter, 1 x 17mm socket adapter, 1 x 14mm socket adapter, 1 x 22mm socket adapter, and 1 x 24mm socket adapter. Total length of the assembled tool is 85mm with a 1/2 inch drive interface.
