The Draper 24230 HI-TORQ® Metric Socket and Bit Set meets that requirement with 110 pieces spanning both 1/4" and 1/2" square drive, all manufactured from chrome vanadium steel with a satin chrome finish. At the heart of the set are 6-point HI-TORQ® sockets and deep sockets in both drive sizes, engineered to maximise contact with fastener faces and reduce the risk of rounding. Both quick release 72-tooth ratchets and the spinner handle are fitted with soft grip handles for sustained comfort during use. The high tooth count of 72 provides a fine working arc, useful in restricted access situations. The 1/4" Sq. Dr. section covers 13 standard sockets (4–14mm), 8 deep sockets (6–13mm), 5 External TX-STAR® sockets (E4–E8), 18 socket bits across Phillips, Pozidrive, slotted, Torx and hex profiles, two extension bars, a universal joint, a sliding bar and a 1/4" to 1/4" hex adaptor. The 1/2" Sq. Dr. section adds 17 standard sockets (10–32mm), 5 deep sockets (14–22mm), two extension bars, a universal joint and a three-way adaptor. An 8mm hex drive section supplies 17 larger-format bits including PH3/PH4, PZ3/PZ4, slotted, Torx and hex profiles, plus four small hex keys (1.27–2.5mm). The complete set is housed in a sturdy plastic storage case.
