The Sealey EVBT700 is a 700kg capacity hydraulic platform truck built specifically to assist with EV battery maintenance on electric vehicles, raising and lowering batteries under controlled, safe conditions. The one-piece hydraulic unit is operated by a large rear-mounted foot pedal, keeping both hands free to guide the load, while a safety release mechanism on the handlebar ensures smooth, controlled descent at all times. The high-lift design achieves a maximum platform height of 1500mm from a minimum platform height of 445mm, with a platform measuring 1220mm long by 610mm wide giving ample support for large battery packs. The solid steel framework is fitted with four 125mm composite wheels: two fixed and two locking castors that allow easy rolling over rough workshop floors. Beyond EV battery work, the EVBT700 is also suited to removing and installing engines, transmissions, fuel tanks, and subframes, and can serve as a mobile service bench.
