The Draper Expert Safety Karabiner (82472) is designed for use in fall-arrest and personal safety systems, providing a reliable connection point wherever a secure, load-bearing link is required in professional workshop, industrial, or height-safety applications. The karabiner features a screwgate fixing which must be manually threaded closed to lock the gate. This mechanism prevents accidental opening under load or vibration making it appropriate for safety-critical rigging and fall-arrest assemblies. The gate opening measures 17mm accommodating a range of standard anchor points harness loops and connecting hardware. Manufactured to EN362 Safety Specifications the 82472 meets the European standard governing connectors used in personal protective equipment against falls from height. Conformance to EN362 is a mandatory requirement in many professional and regulated working environments across the United Kingdom and Europe. The karabiner is supplied as a single unit and is display packed making it straightforward to identify and source as a replacement or additional connector within an existing fall-protection system.
