Tested in numerous drop tests, the lanyard provides a holding capacity for tools up to 1.5 kg, helping to reduce the risks of tool loss, injury to living beings, and damage to objects below. It is suited to industrial climbing, arborist work, rescue services, marine environments, and other applications requiring compliance with working-at-height regulations. The lanyard features a roughly 90 cm long gathered fabric strap tether that stretches to approximately 1.5 m under load. One end is fitted with a flat belt strap sewn in place; the other end incorporates a cord and cord stopper, also sewn in. The lanyard can be attached directly via the cord or via the carabiner to climbing equipment or fixed anchor points, enabling a quick change of belay between a tool bag and a tether point. The KNIPEX 00 50 01 T BK Lanyard is suitable for all KNIPEX pliers fitted with a tether attachment point, making it a practical addition to any working-at-height toolkit. The long lanyard length supports a large working radius for convenient use. Please note: this lanyard is not classified as personal protective equipment (PPE) and is not suitable for personal safety. Supplied as one lanyard per pack.
