It is suitable for starting petrol engines up to 2.0 litres and diesel engines up to 1.6 litres. The unit delivers a cranking current of 260A (RMS) and 160A (EN60335 average), with a charging current of 60A (RMS) effective and 40A (EN60335) average. These outputs are complemented by an easy-to-read ammeter for monitoring charge state at a glance. Thermal overload protection and polarity inversion safeguards are built in, helping to protect both the unit and the connected battery during operation. Insulated copper leads are supplied. Designed for professional workshop environments, the 11966 features transport handles and trolley wheels for straightforward movement around the workshop or yard. Powered from a single-phase 230V mains supply, the unit measures 245 x 340 x 588mm and weighs 15.5kg. The combination of robust safety features, multi-chemistry compatibility, and practical mobility makes this starter/charger a versatile addition to any professional workshop.
