Auto-sleep activates after 10 minutes of inactivity, with auto-shutdown following at 20 minutes, helping to conserve energy and reduce risk when the iron is left unattended. It is supplied with a 1.5m cable and 3-pin plug, ready for immediate use. The SD002 complies with the Low Voltage Directive and Electromagnetic Compatibility Directives, and replacement soldering tips are available separately.
