Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered, the joint is finished with a micro satin chrome surface that resists corrosion and reduces glare in confined working spaces. The head swings through 90° in both directions, providing the angular flexibility needed to reach fasteners that would otherwise be inaccessible with a straight extension or bar. A spring-loaded ball bearing mechanism holds the socket securely in place throughout the working stroke, reducing the risk of the socket disengaging during use. Manufactured and tested generally in accordance with DIN 3122 and ISO 3315 specifications, the joint meets recognised international standards for universal joints used in socket drive systems. The 1/4" square drive sizing makes it compatible with standard 1/4" drive socket sets. Supplied as a single unit.
