Transferring high-viscosity gear oil from drum to gearbox or axle is a slow, messy task without the right equipment. The Draper 90141 universal gear oil pump is designed to bring efficiency and control to that process, fitting most 20 and 25-litre gear oil drums via its 2-inch BSP collar diameter and delivering a consistent pump rate of 130ml per stroke. The pump operates across a range of drum depths, with a minimum pump depth of 325mm and a maximum of 500mm, making it adaptable to varying drum sizes. A safety shut-off valve is incorporated to give the operator full control over fluid flow and prevent accidental spillage during transfer operations. The 1,500mm flow tube provides useful reach between drum and fill point, and is fitted with a copper and steel connector to provide added strength and durability at the critical joint. The pump is suited to gear oil and other lubricating oils of similar high viscosity, making it a practical tool across a range of workshop and automotive applications.Specifications include a hose length of 1,500mm and an overall unit weight of 1.07kg, keeping the assembly manageable during use. The pump is supplied as a single unit ready for deployment on the workshop floor or in a vehicle servicing bay.
A universal gear oil pump, suitable for use with most 20 and 25-litre gear oil drums. Used for pumping gear oil and other lubricating oils with similar high viscosity at a pump rate of 130ml per stroke.
