Switching between blower and vacuum modes is effortless, and the soft-grip handle combined with a 6kg lightweight design ensures comfortable operation over extended periods. When working in vacuum mode, the integrated shredder mulches collected material at a 10:1 mulching ratio, reducing the volume of leaves, grass and other compostable debris significantly before depositing it into the spacious 35L collection bag — minimising how often the bag requires emptying. The unit runs on an E10 petrol 95RON and 2-stroke oil (JASO FC minimum) mix at a 40:1 ratio, with a 410ml fuel tank providing a useful working range between refuels. The two-piece chute design simplifies storage and transport when the job is done. Supplied complete with a Mixpot, toolkit, 35L collection bag, two-piece chute and three nozzles, the Draper 30279 is ready to deploy straight from the box for a full range of garden vacuum and clearance tasks.
