This Draper 2-in-1 electric lawn aerator and scarifier addresses both problems with a single machine, making it well suited to small and medium-sized lawns. The aerator cartridge carries 20 tines that penetrate the ground to improve drainage and encourage thicker, healthier grass growth. Switching to the scarifier cartridge, 16 robust steel blades work more deeply than a standard rake to pull up rooted moss, thatch and dead grass and revitalise the lawn. Two quick-change cartridges are supplied, allowing the operator to move between functions without tools. Four adjustable working depths (-12, -8, -4 and +4mm) are selectable via the depth adjustment lever positioned beside one of the front wheels, giving precise control over the finish. Debris is collected in the included 30L bag. The machine runs on a 1500W motor at a no-load speed of 3000rpm across a 320mm working width, and the 10m cable provides useful reach from the power source. The IPX4 rating confirms a degree of splash resistance during outdoor use.
