Overgrown hedges demand a tool that combines cutting power with safe, comfortable handling — and the Draper Storm Force® 230V Hedge Trimmer delivers both. The 450mm double-action blades are driven by a robust 500W motor supported by metal gears and a mechanical syncro, working together to enhance cutting performance through dense growth up to 16mm in diameter at a cutting stroke speed of 3,200spm. Safety is built into every aspect of the design. A two-handed VDE approved trigger switch with integrated hand guard ensures the operator maintains full control, while a quick-stop electronic brake halts blade movement the moment the trigger is released. The lightweight 2.2kg construction reduces fatigue during extended trimming sessions. Cord management has been thoughtfully addressed: strain-relief protects the power cord at the tool body, and a dedicated cable hook keeps the 6m VDE approved cable tidy and away from the cutting path. The trimmer operates on a standard 230V supply and arrives fitted with a VDE approved cable and plug, ready for immediate use. Supplied complete with a transparent blade storage guard for safe storage and transportation, this Draper Storm Force® hedge trimmer is a dependable, safety-conscious tool for professional and commercial garden maintenance.
