Product Number: 30280
Maintaining large or overgrown gardens demands versatile equipment capable of switching between tasks without the need for multiple separate machines. The Draper 30280 2-in-1 petrol garden power tool addresses this by combining a grass trimmer and a hedge cutter in a single, split-shaft unit. The two attachments are easily interchangeable, and the split-shaft design aids convenient storage and transportation when the job is done. Power comes from a 34.6cc 2-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 1kW, with a choke and easy-start system for simple operation. An on/off switch with safety throttle lever and lock-on function provides controlled, safer starting. The fuel tank holds 750ml and runs on E10 petrol (95 RON) mixed with 2-stroke oil (JASO FC minimum) at a 40:1 ratio. The hedge trimmer attachment features 430mm dual-action blades with a 400mm cutting length and a cutting capacity of up to 9mm branch thickness, operating at 9,500rpm. The blade geometry suits hard-to-reach areas of hedgerows and shrubs. The grass trimmer attachment runs at 8,000rpm with a 330mm cutting width, using a 2mm diameter nylon line loaded via a 'Tap'N'Go' automatic feed spool supplied with 3m of line, cutting efficiently through overgrown grass, weeds and light brush. At 6.5kg with the grass trimmer head and 7.4kg with the hedge trimmer blade fitted, the unit remains manageable across extended use. An adjustable D-type soft-grip handle offers better control, and a single-strap shoulder harness with quick-release mechanism is included. The package contains the grass trimmer head, hedge trimmer blade, belt and mixpot.
