The lopper features Japanese SK-5 steel blades, one of which carries a non-stick coating, to deliver high-performance cutting across a range of conditions. Flat tubular aluminium handles keep overall weight low, while integrated shock absorbers reduce the impact transmitted to the user's hands and wrists. This lightweight construction, combined with the gear action, makes the tool ideally suited for cutting harder wood at height, and is especially appropriate for users who experience shoulder or arm problems. The 685mm handle length is designed for a cutting capacity of 50mm diameter. A shorter 560mm variant with a 40mm diameter capacity is also available within the same range, allowing users to select the most appropriate tool for the scale of work undertaken.
