Worn or poorly calibrated diesel injectors can cause hard starting, poor fuel economy, excessive smoke, and rough running but identifying which injector is at fault requires testing under pressure. The Sealey VS2058 Diesel Injector Nozzle Tester enables the testing of injectors under pressure, allowing you to check both atomisation pattern and opening pressure accurately. The tester is fitted with an 88mm diameter gauge with rubber bumper, reading in both psi and bar across a scale of 0-600bar (0-8700psi). A transparent reservoir fitted with a fine filter keeps the fluid clean during testing, and the unit is supplied with two injector connection pipes to suit M12 and M14 connections. A practical and clear solution for diesel injector diagnostics in the workshop.
