Setting and locking engine timing accurately on Ford EcoBoost and diesel engines requires the correct tooling to avoid costly errors during variable valve timing sprocket removal or belt replacement. The Sealey VSE6560A Petrol Engine Timing Tool Kit contains all the tooling required to set and lock the engine, including a tensioner locking pin for Ford 1.6 EcoBoost engines. A camshaft locking tool is included, which must be used to set and lock the camshafts into their timing position when the variable valve timing sprockets are removed. The kit also features a time-saving crankshaft pulley alignment tool. Timing pins included are suitable for Ford 2.0D and 2.2D diesel engines. The kit is supplied in a storage case complete with instructions and a warning tag. It replaces Ford OEM tools 303-1097, 303-748, 303-1550, and 303-1054, and Volvo OEM tools 999-7429, 999-7406, and 999-7431.
