Replacing the timing belt on Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ford and Lancia 1.2 and 1.4 8v petrol engines demands precise alignment tools without them, costly engine damage is a real risk. The Sealey VSE5061 Petrol Engine Timing Tool Kit provides the essential tools required to carry out this job accurately on belt drive engines across a wide range of popular models. The kit includes a camshaft setting plate, crankshaft locking tool and belt tensioner adjuster for the 1.2 engine. For the 1.4 VVT engine, the kit also includes an additional sprocket locking tool and alignment fixture for the camshaft sensor. Compatible vehicles include the Alfa Romeo MiTo, Fiat 500, Fiat Grande Punto, Fiat Panda, Ford Ka and Lancia Ypsilon, among many others built between 2000 and 2015. Ford OEM references: 303-1477, 303-1478, 303-1479, 303-1480. Fiat OEM references: 1.860.987.000, 2.000.004.200, 2.000.004.300, 2.000.004.400, 2.000.004.500. The complete kit is supplied in a BMC storage case for organised, protected storage between uses.
