The refractometer features a focusable eyepiece and an Automatic Temperature Corrected (ATC) prism, ensuring readings remain accurate regardless of ambient temperature variations. It is designed for use with standard ethylene glycol and propylene anti-freeze formulations. Measuring ranges are clearly defined: urea concentration from 0 to 40% and anti-freeze strength from 0 to -50°C. These dual scales make the instrument suitable for both diesel exhaust fluid quality checks and routine coolant system maintenance. The kit is supplied complete with a calibration screwdriver, calibration fluid, pipette, and cleaning cloth, providing everything required to set up and maintain measurement accuracy from the outset.
