A. The 314291V2 is a short adaptor kit designed for diesel compression testing on PSA group engines. It provides the correct adaptors to connect a diesel compression gauge via the glow plug port, enabling accurate cylinder pressure measurement for diagnosing starting issues, misfires, or loss of power.

The kit covers a range of diesel engines including Citroën 1.4, 1.6, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.7 HDI; Fiat Scudo/Ulysse 2.0 JDT, 2.2 JTD and 2.2 JTDM; Ford 1.4, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.2 TDCI; Jaguar/Land Rover 2.2 and 2.7 TD; Peugeot 1.4, 1.6, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.7 HDI; and Volvo 1.6, 2.0 and 2.4D. A. The kit includes four adaptors: 31423170 (M8 x 1.0, Fiat and GM), 31425270V2 (M10 x 1.0, HDI PSA, Fiat, Ford, Suzuki and Volvo), 31427770V2 (M8 x 1.0, JLR, PSA, Asian Imports, Fiat, Ford, MINI and Volvo), and 31428570 (M8 x 1.0, JLR, PSA, Fiat and Ford).
A. This kit is suitable for all 314 Series compression tester kits. It is not compatible with the older 014 Series kits; those require a convertor (part number 31429700).
