Achieving consistent, even adhesive coverage across tiling and flooring substrates demands a trowel with a blade that holds its edge under repeated use. The Draper 81256 Adhesive Spreading Trowel is built around a serrated carbon steel blade that has been hardened and tempered to maintain its geometry and resist deformation during heavy spreading work. A lacquered finish protects the blade surface against corrosion, extending the working life of the tool in damp or wet application environments. The blade measures 120mm wide with an overall length of 280mm, providing a practical spread width suited to medium-format tile and adhesive mat applications. Serrations along the blade edge create uniform ridges in the adhesive bed, promoting consistent coverage and secure substrate bonding in line with installation best practice. The soft grip handle is designed to reduce fatigue during prolonged use, allowing the operative to maintain accurate blade angle and pressure throughout the task. Supplied as a single trowel, the 81256 is a reliable choice for tiling contractors, flooring installers, and professional workshop and construction operatives requiring a dependable spreading tool.
Serrated carbon steel blade, 120mm wide, hardened and tempered with a lacquered finish. Soft grip handle for user comfort.
