Acoustic guidance assists the user in reaching precise alignment without needing to watch the display continuously, and the flip display enables accurate overhead measurement without repositioning. A slope transfer reference mode allows angles to be captured and transferred to a second surface, supporting consistent replication of angles across a workpiece or structure. The integrated magnetic bracket enables hands-free operation on metal constructions, a practical advantage when working alone or when both hands are needed on the workpiece. A calibration function is included to maintain high measuring accuracy over time, with vial accuracy stated at ±1 mm/m. The unit provides clear 0°, 45°, and 90° acoustic signals to confirm key positions. The milled measuring surfaces ensure consistent contact with the work surface. Power is supplied by 2 x 1.5 V LR03 (AAA) batteries, which are included. The unit measures 240 mm x 66 mm x 30 mm and weighs 315 g including batteries.
