The Sealey AK711 Disc Brake Piston Spreader is purpose-built for this task, providing a controlled, even spread to push the piston back safely and create the clearance needed to fit new pads. The spreader plates are chemically blackened steel, and the tool opens to a maximum spread of 90mm. It is suitable for use with most ATE, Bendix, Delco and Girling calipers, covering a wide range of popular vehicles. An essential addition to any workshop carrying out brake pad replacement.
