Brake pipe flaring demands precision and repeatability — a poorly formed flare risks hydraulic failure and brake system integrity. The Draper Expert Brake Pipe Flaring Turret Kit (23310) is designed for professional workshop use, delivering accurate SAE convex, SAE double, and DIN convex flares across a comprehensive range of brake pipe sizes. The tool operates via a rotating turret selector that allows the user to quickly locate and engage the correct punch for the flare type required, minimising setup time and reducing the risk of selecting the wrong profile. The unit mounts securely in a bench vice, providing the stability essential for consistent, accurate flaring. Four interchangeable split die sets are included, enabling rapid changeover between pipe sizes without the need for additional tooling. SAE convex flaring is supported for 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", and 8mm pipe. SAE double flaring covers 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 4.75mm, and 8mm. DIN convex flaring is available for 4.75mm and 8mm pipe, making the kit suitable for both imperial and metric brake pipe standards commonly encountered in vehicle brake maintenance. The kit is supplied display packed in a blow mould case for organised storage and protection of all components.
