Working in and around engine bays exposes forearms to a constant risk of cuts from sharp edges and burns from hot exhaust components. The Sealey SSP36 is a 355mm protective sleeve manufactured from 100% DuPont Kevlar®, rated to CAT 2 under both BS EN 388 (mechanical hazards) and BS EN 407 (thermal hazards). It is specifically designed for use in engine bays to protect forearms from cuts and burns caused by exhausts and other hot components. A thumb slot design keeps the sleeve firmly in position during use, so it won't slip or bunch up while you work.
