The Sealey VS904 Infrared Laser Digital Thermometer detects energy emission in the infrared spectrum and converts the reading into a displayed temperature, covering a range of -50°C to +530°C (-58°F to +986°F). With a 12:1 focal ratio, it offers practical measurement distance for automotive and workshop use. The large 23mm LCD HD colour screen features a back-lit display, making readings easy to see in low light conditions, and temperature can be shown in either °C or °F to suit your preference. Useful features include a laser pointer for accurate targeting, data-hold to freeze the last reading on screen, and auto-power-off to preserve battery life. Accuracy is ±3°C between -50°C and 0°C, and ±1.5°C or ±1.5% (whichever is greater) between 0°C and +530°C. The VS904 is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, which are supplied.
