Manually splitting large volumes of logs is physically demanding, time-consuming, and can be hazardous. The Sealey LS550V Vertical Log Splitter takes the hard work out of the process, delivering up to 6 tonnes of splitting pressure to handle logs up to 550mm in length and 300mm in diameter, with a minimum log size of 100mm length and 80mm diameter. The adjustable wedge allows the workpiece to be positioned as close to the wedge as possible, minimising splitting time and improving efficiency. Safety is built into the design with a two-hand operation system using twin pull-in and push-down levers, ensuring both hands are clear of the work area during each cycle. The vertical ram travel of 495mm and a tier log length range of 100-550mm give flexibility for continuous sizing across a variety of log lengths. Powered by a 3000W 230V motor and with an overall footprint of 915 x 840 x 1495mm (W x D x H), the LS550V is supplied with wheels for easy manoeuvrability around your work area.
