The SIP 01554 10" Industrial Circular Saw is a single-phase, heavy-duty cold saw designed for industrial workshop environments, delivering precise and controlled cutting of ferrous metals via a slow-cutting blade rated at 42rpm. Powered by a 1.5hp (1.1kW) motor on a 230V (13A) supply, it is built to handle demanding production and fabrication tasks with consistent accuracy.
At the core of its design is a sturdy cast iron construction that provides rigidity and durability under sustained use. The swivel head allows angled cuts to be made with confidence, whilst the single jaw vice with secondary clamping minimises vibration and holds workpieces firmly for repeatable, accurate results. A quick-release vice handle accelerates throughput in repetitive cutting cycles, and the pull-down handle incorporates an ON/OFF switch together with an E-stop control for safe, intuitive operation.
Cooling is managed by an integrated electric pump system that circulates coolant across both the blade and the workpiece, extending blade life and maintaining cut quality over extended production runs. The slow-cutting blade design is specifically suited to ferrous metals, reducing heat build-up and burring. Cutting capacity at 90° reaches 60mm diameter for round tube and 75mm x 45mm for box section, whilst at 45° the machine accommodates 55mm diameter round tube and 55mm x 45mm box section, with a maximum blade size of 250mm.
