The SIP 05648 20-litre Dehumidifier is a multi-purpose portable dehumidifier unit designed to effectively remove excess moisture from various indoor spaces for greater air quality. Operating on a 230V (13A) single-phase supply at 320W, it delivers a maximum dehumidifying capacity of 20 litres per day at 30°C and 80% relative humidity, or 10 litres per day at 27°C and 60% relative humidity. With coverage of up to 18 square metres and a maximum airflow of 195 m³/hr, the unit is ideal for home, office and commercial environments across all seasons.
Five operating modes provide superb flexibility and humidity control. Target Humidity Mode allows a specific percentage humidity level to be set. Air Clean Mode removes travelling odours using a 2-speed fan adjustable for comfort. Auto Mode sets air humidity to match the ambient level in the room. Dry Clothes Mode optimally draws moisture from clothes and fabrics. Defrost Mode features an auto-defrost setting that can automatically engage to maintain a constant temperature in colder-than-normal spaces.
The unit's 6.5-litre water collection tank is equipped with an integrated float switch that emits an audible beep and triggers automatic shut-down once the tank is full, preventing overflow. An integrated timer allows specific dehumidifying sessions to be set within a 24-hour period. When powered, an automatic 3-colour humidity indicator — yellow (low), green (medium) and red (high) — displays the current ambient humidity level at a glance. The unit operates at a sound pressure level of 48 dB(A) and is fitted with a quality compressor using eco-friendly R290 refrigerant (60g). An optional HEPA (Highly Efficient Particle Air) filter is available separately.
The slimline, wheel-mounted design and intuitive electronic control panel allow the unit to be easily moved and repositioned between locations. The SIP 05648 is covered by SIP's 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty.
