Orbital sanding demands consistent, swirl-free material removal across automotive bodywork and workshop surfaces — a challenge that requires both precision and operator comfort over extended use. The Draper Storm Force® Dual Action Air Palm Sander addresses this through a 3/32" orbital pattern that produces a fine, even finish whilst minimising the surface marks associated with single-action sanders. The tool is manufactured with a lightweight aluminium housing, reducing operator fatigue during prolonged sessions. A variable speed control lever allows the operator to match sanding speed to the material and task, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle is designed to help reduce vibration at the hand. A palm trigger provides further control over operation, and a rear exhaust system clears dust away from the work area. The hook and loop backing pad accepts standard 150mm abrasive discs and is driven at a free speed of 9,000rpm. The sander operates at 90psi (6.2bar) with an average air consumption of 4cfm (114 l/min), requiring a minimum hose internal diameter of 3/8" (10mm). The air inlet is 1/4" BSP, and an overall length of 175mm keeps the tool compact. Weight is 1.08kg.Supplied complete with a spanner and 1/4" BSP adaptor, the unit is ready to connect to a compatible air compressor system. The Draper Storm Force® 70834 is sold as a single sander.
