Achieving clean, consistent profiles in timber and composite materials demands both power and control — the Draper 2520 230V Variable Speed Router delivers both through a 1,800W motor paired with soft-start circuitry and variable speed control. Soft start reduces initial torque shock, while the variable no-load speed range of 6,000–22,000 rpm lets the operator match cutting speed to the material and bit diameter in use. Precise depth setting is handled by a combination of depth locking lever, adjustable depth stop and fine height adjustment, enabling repeatable cuts and shaped profiles. Two side handles provide a stable, two-handed grip throughout each pass, and an integrated trigger switch with trigger safety button keeps operation secure and responsive. The router accepts 1/4", 1/2" and 12mm collets — all three sizes are included in the kit, with the 12mm collet factory fitted. Further accessories supplied as standard include an adjustable parallel guide fence, a pivot rod trammel for circle work, a curved edge guide, a template follower and a spanner. Working depth reaches 50mm, the cable measures 2m, and the unit weighs 7.5kg. Voltage is 230V.
