Cordless circular sawing demands consistent power delivery without the performance drop associated with brushed motors — the Draper 55519 D20 20V Brushless Circular Saw addresses this through its brushless motor design, which sustains cutting efficiency across the working stroke. An electronic brake arrests blade rotation rapidly once the trigger is released, reducing idle time between cuts and improving operator control on site. The saw accepts a 165mm diameter blade with a 20mm bore and reaches a no-load speed of 3,650rpm. Cutting depth is 50mm at 90° and 35mm at 45°, covering a broad range of timber and sheet-material applications. The aluminium base plate provides a stable, accurate reference surface, while the dust extraction outlet allows connection to a vacuum system to keep the work area clear. A parallel guide and 24TCT blade are included. Power comes from the D20 20V Li-ion battery platform. The interchangeable D20 battery system allows a single battery to be shared across any tool within the D20 series, reducing the overall cost and complexity of a cordless tool fleet. Batteries and chargers are sold separately. The saw is not supplied in a carry case. Bare-unit weight is 2.58kg.
