Workshop finishing and detailing tasks demand a versatile tool that can switch roles without changing machines. The Draper D20 20V Cordless Engraver/Grinder (SKU 60508) addresses that need by combining grinder, sander, wire brush, polisher, carving and cut-off tool functions in a single cordless unit. The pen-shaped holder attaches to a 910mm flexible shaft, allowing the operator to reach awkward angles with precision. Speed is fully variable between 5,000 and 34,000rpm (no load), adjusted via a dial on the console, with a simple on/off switch on the same console. A built-in accessory storage compartment on the console keeps the most frequently used items immediately to hand. The 3.2mm chuck accepts the supplied accessories and the unit runs from a 20V Li-ion battery — achieving approximately 50 minutes of runtime on a 2.0Ah battery or 120 minutes on a 4.0Ah battery. Batteries and chargers are sold separately. As part of the D20 interchangeable battery system, the same battery can be used across any tool in the D20 series. Supplied with over 30 accessories including sanding drums, cutting wheels, polishing wheels, polishing paste, a collet spanner, a 3mm HSS drill bit, a diamond grinding point, a tungsten milling point, grinding heads, and a disc holder — providing a comprehensive starting set for immediate use.
