The SIP 01565 12" Industrial Circular Saw is a three-phase metal-cutting circular saw designed for heavy industry-grade workshop applications. Built to cut a range of ferrous metals via a slow-cutting blade, it combines high accuracy with ease of use to meet the demands of professional and industrial environments.
At the heart of the machine is a heavy-duty 3-phase motor drawing a 400V (5A) supply and delivering either 1hp (0.75kW) or 1.7hp (1.1kW) depending on operational mode, with corresponding blade speeds of 18rpm and 36rpm respectively. The swivel head design enables accurate angled cutting, whilst the cranked pull-down handle integrates an ON/OFF switch and emergency stop control for safe, comfortable operation across all users. A twin jaw vice provides precise workpiece positioning and higher accuracy, and a quick-release vice handle supports efficient repetitive cutting cycles.
The saw accommodates a maximum blade size of 315mm and delivers a cutting capacity at 90° of 140mm x 90mm for box section and Ø100mm for round tube, reducing to 100mm x 90mm box section and Ø90mm round tube at 45°. An electric pump cooling system actively cools both the blade and the workpiece during operation, extending blade life and maintaining cut quality. Sturdy cast iron construction underpins the machine's durability in sustained industrial use.
The SIP 01565 is covered by SIP's 2-Year Standard Silver Warranty. Manufactured to perform in demanding workshop environments, it is supplied ready for direct installation on a 400V 3-phase supply.
