The SIP 01948 is a 3-inch heavy-duty belt linisher rated at 3kW (4hp) and supplied on 400V three-phase input, designed for removing sharp edges and burrs from workpieces and finishing metalwork products. It is suitable for cleaning, grinding and finishing of tubes, profiles and flat sections in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, making it an essential machine for professional engineering, fabrication and metalwork workshops.
At the core of its capability is a long-lasting zirconium bonded belt — 2000mm x 75mm at 80G — driven at a belt speed of 34 metres per second. A quick belt release handle and easy-access side panel make belt changing fast and straightforward, while a belt tracking adjusting knob ensures the belt runs straight and true at all times. Adjustable eye protection and an NVR switch are both fitted as standard for increased user safety.
