Getting clean, accurate crosscuts and mitre cuts in a busy workshop or on site demands a reliable, powerful saw with enough capacity for the job. The Sealey SMS216 is a 1450W sliding compound mitre saw fitted with a 216mm, 24-tooth TCT blade running at up to 7000rpm, giving you a maximum cross cut of 310mm at 0° bevel and a mitre cut of 215mm at 45°. The sliding compound action means you can work with wider boards without needing a larger machine, and the laser guide helps you line up cuts quickly and accurately. Positive mitre locks at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45° left and right take the guesswork out of common angles, while the 45° bevel capability gives a bevel cut capacity of 34 x 215mm. The integral plastic workpiece supports fold away into the aluminium base when not in use, so they stay with the machine rather than getting lost on a busy site. A carry handle makes the saw straightforward to move between locations, and the included dust extraction bag (36mm ID / 40mm OD port) helps keep the work area clean. The saw is supplied with workpiece clamps and can be fitted with the optional SMS216B multipurpose blade for cutting mild steel, aluminium and wood with nails. Powered from a standard 230V supply.
