The WAI 19938N is a 24V 7.5kW starter motor. It is manufactured by Nikko to an OSGR design, supplied brand new and cross-referenced directly to Komatsu original-equipment numbers including KOMATSU 600-813-4930, 600-813-4931, 600-813-4932 and 600-813-4934 — 14 OE references in total across the Nikko and Komatsu ranges. It is built for heavy-duty plant applications, with confirmed fitment on the Komatsu D475A (1995–1999).
The OSGR (Over-running Clutch with Solenoid, Gear Reduction) design delivers controlled cranking torque through an 11-tooth pinion gear rotating clockwise, making it well suited to the demanding start cycles of large earthmoving plant.
