Product Number: 18796N
The WAI 18796N is a brand-new 12-volt Mitsuba PMDD starter motor. It is manufactured by Mitsuba and supplied as a direct OE replacement. It carries cross-references for Lucas TVS, Suzuki, Remy, Arctic Cat, and Arctco original-equipment numbers — making it a widely applicable replacement for buyers working from OEM part numbers rather than vehicle fitment data.
Built to the PMDD (Permanent Magnet Direct Drive) design, this starter motor delivers a compact, efficient drive without the gear-reduction complexity of older wound-field units. The clockwise rotation and 12V operating voltage align directly with the OE specifications it replaces, ensuring a like-for-like installation when the original part number is matched.
With 25 verified OE cross-references in total — spanning Lucas TVS 260-24-567, Suzuki 31100-44D10 / 44D20 / 44D21, Remy RS41247, Mitsuba SM64 / SM64-12V, and Arctic Cat and Arctco references — this unit suits buyers sourcing by OE number across multiple original-equipment brands.
