Product Number: 18719N
The WAI 18719N is a brand-new 12V Mitsuba PMDD starter motor. It is supplied as a direct replacement for original-equipment units referenced under Suzuki and Kawasaki part numbers, as well as the Remy aftermarket reference RS41240. Built to Mitsuba's permanent-magnet direct-drive specification, it delivers the reliable cranking performance expected of OE-quality engineering.
The PMDD (Permanent Magnet Direct Drive) design dispenses with field windings in favour of high-strength permanent magnets, reducing internal losses and providing consistent torque output across the starter's operating range. Counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation is set at manufacture and matches the original drivetrain orientation this motor is designed to serve.
As a brand-new unit — not a remanufactured or exchange item — the 18719N carries no core charge and requires no return of a worn original. It is supplied ready to fit straight from the box.
