Product Number: 67011002
The Highway Automotive 67011002 is a 24-volt, 4 kW replacement starter motor engineered to restore dependable cold-start performance on DAF commercial vehicles. With 10 pinion teeth and a three-bore mounting configuration, it is designed to mate directly with the OE flywheel ring gear and bell-housing pattern found across the DAF LF and CF series. The starter delivers a rated 4 kW of cranking output — the sustained torque needed to turn over the compression ratios typical of commercial diesel engines in all-weather conditions. The 10-tooth pinion engages the ring gear at the correct ratio, while the three mounting bores ensure a rigid, vibration-resistant installation without adaptation. This unit covers 18 confirmed applications across the DAF CF 65 and the full DAF LF 45 and LF 55 ranges, spanning variants from the LF 45 45.140 through to the LF 55 55.300. It is therefore suited to light-duty distribution, municipal, and agriculture-support fleets that operate DAF LF and CF platform vehicles. No warranty data is published for this part in the current source records. Installation should be carried out by a competent technician following the vehicle manufacturer's procedure, with attention to cable-loom routing and solenoid-terminal torque settings.
