Product Number: 16924N
The WAI 16924N is a brand-new 12V 0.8kW direct-drive (DD) starter motor. It is built to Mitsubishi specification, designed to replace original-equipment units across a wide range of Hyster, Yale, and TCM Equipment forklifts. With 25 verified applications spanning models from 1985 through to 2001, it is a well-established replacement choice for fleet maintainers and independent workshops alike.
Constructed to match OE geometry and electrical characteristics, the 16924N runs clockwise rotation with an 8-tooth pinion, making it a direct swap for the original Mitsubishi-designed starter fitted to these machines. Its direct-drive configuration keeps the unit compact and reliable in the demanding duty cycles typical of counterbalance forklift operation.
This starter cross-references against original-equipment numbers from Mitsubishi, Denso, Bosch, Delco Remy, Remy, Hyster, Yale, and Mazda — 23 references in total — giving buyers and parts professionals a straightforward route to confirm the correct application before ordering.
