The WAI 8718N is a brand-new 12V, 160-amp alternator. It is built to the Delco 24SI Series HP IR/IF design, replacing Remy references 30004VL and 8600310 as well as Unipoint ALT1243. It is suited to specialist agricultural and sprayer equipment, with confirmed fitment on the Miller Applications Technology Nitro 200 and the Willmar Eagle 8500.
The 24SI Series HP (High Performance) design features internal regulation (IR) and internal fan (IF), delivering 160 amps of output at 12 volts — a high-output rating well suited to the demanding electrical loads of large-scale sprayer platforms. Clockwise rotation is standard for this design. The unit is supplied without a pulley, so the original pulley from the outgoing alternator is retained and transferred during installation.
With confirmed cross-references to Remy and Unipoint original-equipment numbers, this alternator offers a straightforward like-for-like replacement. It is supplied in brand-new condition — not remanufactured — ensuring full service life from the point of installation.
