Variations
Twist fix rather than click fix — the same principle, a different engagement, for the Vauxhall Combo from 2019 onwards.
Both lock the mat to the vehicle's own floor anchors. The twist version engages with a quarter turn once the mat is seated, which some drivers find easier to release when the mats come out for cleaning.
Whichever mechanism, the point stands: a mat that cannot move cannot end up near the pedals.
The mats are vulcanised rubber over a polyurethane backing, waterproof and oil and mud resistant, working against mud, dirt, grime and spills.
Fitting needs no tools. Two pieces per set, so one side lifts out on its own.
Cutting the pieces to this footwell rather than trimming a blank is what allows the fixings to meet the anchors at all — a universal mat has nothing to engage with.
