A passenger seat cover for the Volvo FM, cut for the seat alongside the driver in a long-distance cab.
The material is 600-denier polyester over a polyurethane backing: waterproof and oil and mud resistant, keeping mud, oil, water and general wear off a seat that carries a mate on some runs and kit on others. Overlocked seams hold the stitching along the bolster edges where an air-suspended seat flexes on entry and exit.
Seatbelt access is retained, so the belt runs exactly as it did before, and seat adjusters and suspension travel both remain accessible with the cover fitted — so the seat still rides under load rather than being held down.
Fitting requires no tools at any point, so the cover comes off for cleaning and goes back on without anything being unbolted.
