The material is 600-denier polyester over a polyurethane backing: waterproof and oil and mud resistant, made to take the mud, spills, water and wear a truck driver's seat absorbs across long shifts. Overlocked seams keep the stitching strong along the bolsters where the seat flexes on entry and exit. Coverage is 360-degree, wrapping the seat rather than draping over the top of it.

Because the cover is shaped for these cabs, the seat keeps working as built: headrest, armrest, seat adjusters and suspension travel all remain accessible with it fitted, so the seat still rides under load rather than being held down. A headrest cover and an armrest cover are both included.

Being a single-piece cover, there are no separate panels to realign after the seat has moved through its suspension travel, so it stays as fitted rather than needing straightening between shifts.
