Product Number: EGR-048
The EGR-048 is an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve designed as a direct replacement for a range of 1.4 TDI diesel applications across Audi, Skoda, Seat and Volkswagen vehicles built between 2000 and 2010. The EGR valve controls the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the engine intake, reducing combustion temperatures and lowering harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in line with vehicle emissions standards.
This replacement unit covers 56 vehicle applications across four manufacturers, making it a widely applicable choice for workshop and trade buyers sourcing a single EGR valve to cover multiple VAG-platform TDI models. The fitment range spans Audi, Skoda, Seat and Volkswagen variants, with the year span running from 2000 to 2010.
Representative fitment examples include the Audi A2 (8Z0) 1.4 TDI with engine codes AMF, ATL and BHC (02/2000-08/2005), and the Seat Cordoba (6L2) 1.4 TDI with engine codes BMS and BNM (05/2005-11/2009). A full fitment list is available on the product page. Buyers are advised to verify the engine code against their vehicle before ordering.
The EGR-048 cross-references against 37 OE and aftermarket part numbers, including Audi 045 131 501 F, Audi 045 131 501 K, Pierburg 7.24809.31.0, Lucas FDR255, Quinton Hazell XEGR18, Fuel Parts EGR200, Elstock 71-0038, Meat & Doria 88095, and Hoffer 7518095, among others - confirming broad interchangeability with established aftermarket and OE supply chains.
