Product Number: EGR-002
The EGR-002 is an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve designed as a direct replacement for a wide range of light commercial and passenger vehicles, covering 118 applications across four makes. The part is suitable for Nissan, Renault, Opel, and Vauxhall vehicles built between 2000 and 2014, making it a broadly applicable replacement for workshops and trade buyers sourcing a single solution across a diverse vehicle parc.
The EGR valve controls the recirculation of exhaust gases back into the engine intake, a process critical to combustion efficiency and emissions management. A faulty or seized EGR valve is a common cause of increased emissions, rough idling, reduced power, and engine warning lights, and timely replacement with a correctly specified part is essential to restoring normal engine operation.
With 51 OE cross-references on record, the EGR-002 aligns with references from suppliers including Delphi (EG10298-12B1), Lucas (FDR157), Pierburg (7.22818.59.0), Meat & Doria (88011), Metzger (0892035), Fuel Parts (EGR091), Elstock (72-0011), and Opel OE numbers including 9112463 and 93160741, among others. This breadth of cross-referencing supports confidence in fitment verification against existing vehicle records and workshop management systems.
Confirmed fitment includes the Nissan Interstar Box (X70) with dCi 90 G9T722, dCi 100 G9U720, and dCi 120 G9U720 engine variants, as well as Renault (50 applications), Opel (29 applications), and Vauxhall (21 applications) across the 2000-2014 production span. Always verify against the vehicle registration and engine code before ordering.
