Product Number: 06-017
The CCL 06-017 is a 12-volt shell-style resonance horn designed as an exact-fit replacement compatible with VAG vehicles, supplying a low tone output. Built to deliver a minimum output of 105 dB measured at one metre, this horn meets the demands of workshop and trade fitment where a direct, reliable replacement is required.
Constructed in the shell, trumpet, and snail form factor, the 06-017 uses a resonance operating principle and features a special electrical connection to match the original VAG fitment specification. Type Approval E11 confirms that the unit has been assessed to the relevant regulatory standard, giving confidence in compliant installation.
The horn carries OE cross-references covering a broad range of VAG part numbers, including VAG 3B0, VAG 951, VAG 221, VAG 8D0, VAG 6Q0, VAG 191, VAG 113, and further references, making it straightforward to verify application suitability against the original part. Note that this unit is the low-tone horn and is intended for use in conjunction with the CCL 06-016 high-tone horn where a paired installation is required.
The CCL 06-017 is manufactured in China.
